DescriptionPatrick Scott was influenced by the art and culture of Asia. Following his travels to China and Japan in the late 1960s, Scott designed ten screens, mobile folding panels used as room dividers or to provide privacy. The twofold screens, such as the one in the Hugh Lane Gallery collection, are both an artwork and a functional object.
