DescriptionThis is a self-portrait of the artist Antonio Mancini. He smiles as he looks out towards the viewer. His shoulders are slightly turned towards the left. The lower part of his face is in dense shadow. The highlights are executed in white chalk and there is a charcoal line delineating an oval, which surrounds the picture.
