DescriptionCarroll is an internationally significant artist who often explored the relationship between painting and sculpture, as evident in Victory and Untitled (Page Painting). Although much of his work is abstract and monochromatic, the artist often referred to himself as a storyteller when speaking or writing about his work. He often used materials already employed for some other purpose with the signs of this use still visible.On View
