DescriptionMary Barton is best known for her landscape paintings and her subjects ranged from nostalgic rural scenes of her native Dundalk to the foreign vistas of France, Portugal, India, Canada and Mexico, painted during her various expeditionsA view across an expanse of dark water with rocky shore on the middle right. There are more rocks on the middle left set against a background of thick undergrowth and dense wood. No sky is visible.
