DescriptionA three-quarter length portrait of a bearded man, F W Higginbotham, wearing a dark blue jacket, grey trousers, a dark grey tie, white shirt and a dark grey hat. He appears to be inside the cabin of a yacht, as there is a small porthole in the centre background. He is sitting on a seat attached to the wall.

Frederick William Higginbotham (1874 - 1939) was an architect. In 1905 he was elected to Dublin City Council as a representative of Clontarf East.
