DescriptionThis is a landscape painting. On the left are the façades of low houses. There are people walking along the street in front of the houses. The street has a low wall on the right side that overlooks a riverbed. Only a small amount of bright blue water is trickling along the riverbed, giving the impression that this is a summer scene. Beyond the riverbed a mountainous landscape rises up steeply and continues into the distance. The mountains in the background have a purple hue creating a sense of distance.
