DescriptionThis is an intaglio print (etching) on paper.Estella Solomons started her career as an artist at the Metropolitan School of Art in Dublin, studying under William Orpen. She then attended the RHA Schools where she studied under Walter Osborne. In the early 1900's she went to Paris and studied life drawing in Colorossi's studio. She later visited Holland in 1911 on a painting trip where she sketched at Volendam.
