DescriptionPrototype I and Prototype II are the first and second works of a trilogy set in the Interbau postwar housing project in Berlin, drawing on a wide range of feminist perspectives within queer theory, psychoanalysis, quantum physics, genetics, cybernetics and systems biology. It focuses on female to male gender transition and the intra-actions of bodies, objects and drives. Both works were shown in Doireann O’Malley’s solo exhibition, Prototypes, at Hugh Lane Gallery in 2018.2 screen HD video installation, HD video, 5.1 surround sound. Ed. of 3.
