DescriptionThis is a four colour planographic print (lithograph) on paper.

An interior scene of a mother sitting while breast-feeding a young baby wrapped up in a white blanket. The woman is wearing a knee length black skirt, and looking down at the baby. Her face is in dark shadow and her black hair has scribbles of green in it. The green continues down her back and onto the back of the chair. The background shows a corner with orange on the left wall and yellow with orange whirly stripes on the right wall.

Brian Bourke was born in Dublin in 1936. He studied at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin and St. Martin's School of Art in London.
