DescriptionThis is a drawing study of four girls' heads. The two heads on the extreme right and left have black hair and appear to be drawing in a sketchbook. The girl on the left looks down earnestly at what she is drawing, while the girl on the right looks up. The two girls in the centre have red hair: the one in the immediate foreground looks directly at the viewer and the girl behind faces away examining her hands. At least three of the girls have a ribbon in their hair: the last girl might have a ribbon, but the top of her head is cut by the edge of the paper. On View
