DescriptionThis painting shows a group of young girls playing in a dense forest. A soft golden light is coming in on the left side of the picture, illuminating the girls as they skip off hand-in-hand into the depths of the forest with a woman dressed in red. Three girls have disengaged themselves from the main group and sit together in earnest discussion, while paddling in a stream on the right side of the composition.On View
