DescriptionThis painting shows a well-furnished apartment in Paris. The viewer is looking at a drawing room, with deep olive green wallpaper. There is a chair with a floral patterned cover positioned close to a white marble chimneypiece. On the left of the fireplace is a bookcase. The scene affords a view of the adjoining room, which has a circular table covered in a white tablecloth in the centre. Beyond the table is a long French style window with light white curtains.
