DescriptionThis is a still life painting showing a table in the corner of a room. The table is covered in an off-white tablecloth and the walls behind are painted beige. On the table is a deep patterned bowl, a knife, and a sheet of slightly crumpled newspaper on which sits a glass with dregs of red wine in it. Behind the glass is a wooden wine bottle with a rounded bottom and a cork attached by string, hanging on the side.
