DescriptionThe focus of this conté drawing is a man and woman dancing on the left. Behind this couple are two other couples leaning against a wall and standing in a doorway observing the dancers. There are more figures standing in the background on the right and there is a woman seating on the ground in the right foreground examining her ankle. Each of the figures is dressed in various costumes, the most notable being a harlequin in a white suit, just right of the centre.
