DescriptionThis watercolour study shows a reclining naked woman lying on top of her cloths and a red blanket. She appears to be in a forest; however, the background detail is very indistinct, coloured in shades of brown. There is a small patch of green grass on the right in the immediate foreground, with a clump of small red flowers. The woman's body is facing away while her head is turning towards the viewer. She is leaning on her right elbow and her left arm is straightened out, touching a beige coloured scarf. Under her legs is a dark blue item of clothing and in front of her is a bright red item. Above the red item of clothing are some white flowers. Her brown hair is tied up.On View
