DescriptionThis is a caricature drawing of four men: each of them sitting on the back of another, except for the man at the bottom, in a single pile. The man at the bottom is a representation of the artist himself, William Orpen, as he carries on his back Michael Davitt, William O'Brien and a naked figure of Lord MacDonnell, who sits with his arms folded, in a triumphant manner, on the top. Orpen is just about to walk of a precipice. In the background is a small cottage with a smoking chimney.
