DescriptionThis landscape painting shows the famous Italian lake, Lago Maggiore, in the foreground. There is a large white building with a red terracotta roof close to the shoreline on the left. In the middle distance is a line of hills stretching into the background and framed by a light brown sky and the pale blue waters of the lake.
