DescriptionRodney Dickson was born in Northern Ireland and studied in Liverpool. Based in New York since the 1990s, his work remains influenced by his upbringing in Northern Ireland. He has explored abstraction in his recent paintings, though based on memories of people and places. His thick application of paint can have a visceral impact on the viewer.
