DescriptionA scene showing a group of seven Irish warriors on horseback carrying spears. The warriors are dressed in toga-like garments and have strapped sandals, the straps reaching to the knees. The design work on the blanket beneath the saddle of the white horse in the immediate foreground resembles Celtic lacework. The entire group is standing on a meadow and the background is taken up with a faint blue and grey sky.
