DescriptionArthur Hughes was associated with the artists Holman Hunt and John Everett Millais through the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. While he did not become a member of the Brotherhood, the intricate detailing and rich colouring of his work as well as its mediaeval inspired subject matter is in keeping with its aims. (JO'D)On View
