DescriptionThis is a landscape watercolour showing a body of water, most likely a river. In the immediate foreground and on the right is a boat with two figures in it. One of the figures appears to be fishing. A tree leaning over the river shades the boat. Just beyond the boat close to the river's edge are two red roofed buildings, presumably the boathouse. Further in towards the centre are more red roofed buildings. On the left can be seen the opposite bank, sparsely lined with trees stretching into the middle distance. The sky is light brown with a few grey patches.
