DescriptionThis is a drawing of a family showing two men and two women: presumably a father, mother, son and daughter. They are all dressed in early 19th century clothing. They all stare out at the viewer: the son is in the immediate foreground sitting; just behind him is the mother, wearing a bonnet; beside her is the father; at the back and standing is the daughter. This drawing is of a painting by the French artist, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres.
