DescriptionThis is a full-length figure emerging from a block of marble. The figure is reminiscent of Michelangelo's work of the same title and the actual position of the body has similarities with Rodin's 'Age of Bronze'. The entire left side of the figure is visible, while the right remains engaged to the block. The figure looks somewhat emaciated.
