DescriptionThis is a landscape painting showing a harvest scene. In the foreground is a field with upright stacks of hay. There are two women and a child in the field. One woman, in a blue dress is sitting on the ground, while the woman in a pink dress is sauntering off with the child. There are some trees in the middle distance and a lake or river is visible in the distance. More fields stretch out as far as the horizon line. The sky is filled with patches of pink clouds giving the impression of a summer evening.On View
