DescriptionThis is a landscape painting of a field near Dublin. In the field are three cows wandering around, while a fourth sits on the ground munching grass. There is a clump of brown coloured bushes and trees in the middle distance. Beyond the vegetation is a band of dark mauve, representing distance hills. Two-thirds of the composition is given over to a light brownish grey sky with tinges of blue appearing among the clouds.
