DescriptionBorn in Brighton, Thérèse Lessore studied at the Slade School of Art between 1904 and 1909. .Four years later she became a founding member of The London Group, a radical group of young artists who reacted to the traditions of the Royal Academy, and with whom she exhibited over 100 works. Lessore often captured circus, domestic and street scenes.On View
