BiographyBorn in 1935, in Northumbria, England; 1938-1946 brought up on a farm in Kenmare, county Kerry. Then she and her mother travelled Ireland and England, living in caravans and house boats. Constantly moving, her early education focussed more on art that other subjects; 1952 she completed her studies at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She continued to paint and also design scene sets.In 1973, she moved with her husband and two children from Dublin to county Kerry.
