BiographyBorn in Charlons-sur-Marne, France. Antral studied under the french painter and teacher Fernand Cormon. After serving in the First World War Antral became a member of the Salon des Artistes Independants, he continued to exhibit his work in the Salon's annual exhibition until his death. Though an artist of varied media Antral's most celebrated works are his paintings, particularly those depicting land, town, and seascapes.
