Larry Bigelow

American painter born in Paris in 1925 of Foreign Service parents. On his maternal side a grandfather was from Co. Clare and a grandmother from Dublin. He served in World War II with the British and U.S. armies and since has worked in Europe and the Far East. Exhibiting a style influenced by Whistler and Turner his work is forms part of collections in the USA and Ireland. He is married to a Swiss archaeologist and lives in Geneva.
