John O'Shea

John O'Shea was born at Ballintaylor, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and went to New York in c. 1890. He held his first exhibition in Pasadena in 1913 which was followed by numerous critically acclaimed exhibitions throughout the United States. A book 'John O'Shea 1876-1856: The Artist's Life as I Know It ' was written by Walter A. Nelson-Rees.
