DescriptionThis is a planographic print (lithograph) on paper.Three women, in the foreground, are working in a field. They are all dressed in late 19th century peasant attire, long dresses and white headgear. One is digging with a spade, while the other two are gathering crops. A flat landscape stretches out into the background with a church spire on the distant horizon. This lithograph takes the appearance of an informal gestural sketch.
