DescriptionA landscape scene showing the volcano Eyjafjallajökull on the south coast of Iceland. The volcano is 1666 metres high. Almost the entire middle-ground and stretching up into the background is a snow capped moutain. The foreground shows a plane with a meandering river. In the immediate foreground is some hillocks covered in green grass. The mountain is chocolate brown in colour covered with creamy light brown snow. The sky in the background is a dull light grey.
