DescriptionMick O'Dea produced this portrait of the poet Paula Meehan when he was visual artist-in-residence at Kilkenny Arts Festival (2015-17). O'Dea painted portraits of many artists, performers, actors, musicians and writers taking part in the Festival. Meehan is acclaimed for her poems and plays, and was Ireland Professor of Poetry, 2013-16.
