New Acquisitions Displays, 2022-23

The Hugh Lane Gallery collection continues to grow and evolve to reflect changing art practices. Since the original collection opened to the public in January 1908, the gallery has continued to acquire works by Irish and international artists and now includes video, installation and diverse media alongside more traditional techniques.

We invite you to discover a selection of our recent acquisitions, both purchases by the gallery and donations by generous supporters, who continue the tradition of philanthropy established by the gallery’s founder, Hugh Lane.
